ANNIE BLUMENSTEIN
Perspective. I have always held a great deal of importance to this word, as it can change the way one views the smallest of things in life. I have always been an enthusiastic, open-minded, individual who tries to see the glass half full.
At the age of nine, My family and I took our first trip to the theme park Universal Studios Hollywood. While on the tour, we drove past the set for the Norman Bates Motel, where an actor dressed as Norman Bates quickly approached the studio tram with a prop knife and swung it toward my face. Me being a kid, did not know any of this was fake and had never felt as much fear as I did that day in my entire long nine years of living. My parents reassured me, letting me know none of it was real. My fear suddenly turned to amazement. I was in complete awe!
The second I was on that studio tour I knew I had found my passion. I did not find my love for film on screen, I found it on set.
